Hahaha!

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Re: App Advice for Size Capped Games?

can you make it position-based? i'm not sure how to explain that except by example, so...i was in a very small, plot-intensive game once where the mod came up with a list of positions, like 'queen', 'guard #1', etc. and then we apped towards those positions and she judged who she felt was the best fit. obviously this won't work for every plot or game mechanic, but for that game at least it did a pretty good job of capping the size and giving the mod a way to judge that wasn't first-come-first-serve.

I haven't decided what plot I'm going to use for the game yet, but I do have a couple in mind that would actually work really well with this and help keep diversity in the game. If I do a plot that works with this I think I might use it. Thanks for the idea.
