how's the assassin's creed crew like? any drama/things to avoid? i'm thinking of moving here because of too much drama and ic/ooc blurring where i'm playing. halp.

i don't really see them around much to judge... but when i do, they seem good. you'll be fine as long as you're not hoping for a super active cast. if you can find other things to amuse you in a panfandom game, then you'd probably do well.

Honestly, I think above anon is about right. No drama or other wanky grossness going on - but room for improvement when it comes to activity and involvement. I've had a rough year with health issues/family health issues myself, but I'm hoping to really jump back into things soon and help get the ball rolling on the Brotherhood front. Our new Haytham is already scheming for the Templars, too, if you were considering one of those 'May the Father of Understanding guide us' folks. (: We are also very backtag friendly. And would love to have you.

Another Ex AC person here—no drama that I'm aware of, I've enjoyed all my threads with castmates, and some of us are faster than others but in my experience everyone's been steady—I've never had to worry about suddenly getting thread-dropped. Everything's been pretty chill and fun since I joined.

Looking at maybe apping into the FMA cast. How're Ed and Al?

I've played with the Al a few times and they're pretty good, IMO. Haven't seen the Ed much to judge, but they're okay.

the al is fantastic imo, even though they're slow sometimes

I play from the anime as well, so definitely no harm, there. The main reason I was looking here specifically was because it's so hard to find anime castmates.

i have threaded with and adore both! they are both fairly active, the ed being moreso, and they're really good characterization-wise; and both of their muns are total sweethearts. but yes i think an anon above mentioned that ed is anime, and al is... manga i think? or brotherhood, not sure.

How easy is it to get started up as a new player here?

I joined not long ago, and haven't found it too difficult, anon! The directory pages answered most all of my questions about game setting and the like, and the playerbase is friendly. (And a lot of them are backtag-friendly as well.)

Additionally a lot of the characters themselves are helpful, so it's fairly easy for new characters to adjust and find out things. My main advice would just be to tag around, find something to get your character involved in (if it's IC for them to do so), and/or to make use of the plotting memes when they go up.

hi, another interested new player here! what's the pace of the game like? how's the AC? doable for a player who's already in a game elsewhere?

is it possible to survive if you use the network more than the logs?

I don't see why not! The only thing you have to keep in mind is the network only works within ~200 feet of the island, so if your character left or went on a mission they wouldn't have access to it then.

Network posts can generate a lot of responses, though. So I think they could easily work for both CR and A/C purposes if that is your concern.
