Hahaha!

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Any help for a newbie who needs to intro?

These are mostly my personal opinions so take with a grain of salt.

- make it unique! i tend to skip intros that'll inevitably lead to threads that are just characters explaining the ropes of the place ("Where am I?" "I need to go home." "Where's the guy in charge?" "Let me out!!" etc). it depends on what kind of character you play, but they could be making snide commentary, asking weird personal questions, talking about themselves, whatever.

- having an action option open to non-housemates would be helpful if your network broadcast doesn't appeal to everyone. though on that note, try not to make it the standard "Bobby is sitting on his porch/lawn/sidewalk looking through the lease, come bother?" I made this mistake once and no one tagged that option haha. maybe have them approach others? those usually hook more people. or have them doing something that would catch someone's attention instead of sitting/standing around if they're not the type to go up to strangers.

- keep the tl;dr introspection in brackets to a minimum, especially if it's concerning stuff no one would really understand or care about without knowledge of the canon or character.

And that's all I can think of right now! Hope this was at least a bit helpful. :)
