I haven't seen any images of derek crying so I didn't have that to go off. But there is a picture of issac and boyd sitting around in the loft with the floor flooded, so they both seem to have survived the fight if the water happens during it.

Maybe Ms Blake really does die then.

I'm actually starting to suspect something happens to cora, which is what derek's crying about, and the death is someone else unrelated to the fight or that scene. It would fit with next episode being the hale family flashbacks as well.

No. We were told that cora will be fighting for her life in episode 12

I didn't say she'd be the death. I said something happens to her. Which would actually lead neatly into her fighting for her life in the later episodes, if 'fighting for her life' is more about being sick or status effected in some way rather than literal fighting.

How many times do people have to say that Cora is going live by this point?

She's at least around to episode 11. Which, according to the episode summary list, is the episode where Derek and Peter are trying to save her life.

Additionally. We know that the death is a major character. The only characters who are 'major' and aren't mentioned in a later episode are, in fact, the ones in the fight scene. The twins, Kali, Boyd and Isaac.

That list obviously would include Ms Blake if she's been 'upped' to a major death status.

I didn't say cora would die. Just that something could happen to her, severe enough to upset derek and then maybe even lead into the plot of the later episodes.

Doubtful given that it would then mean that Derek and Peter do jack shit for four episodes before starting to solve it.

Yeah because they haven't stretched and stalled out time enough already this season. We've had one night last over two episodes right at the beginning, then one day & night lasted two episodes on the last two. Episode 8 is going to be hale family flashbacks so I'm betting nothing big is going to progress in the main plot that episode anyway. Eleven and twelve are both listed as having the save cora plot going on, which leaves nine and ten to stall out.

They also haven't had as much shit to wrap up. For all they go on about this season being twice as long, the Alpha pack is ending on episode 12. The Darach might end at that point as well.

Cora we know isn't coming back from the second half. It would make more sense to actually spend a couple of episodes getting to know her. Like how they're doing with tonight, as evidenced by the picture of her with Lydia and Stiles.

Are you really arguing their storyline decisions on what would make the most sense.

They could sideline one set of characters while the plot progresses with the others. They've done that before. And I mean I agree I'd like to get to know cora more, but that could still be done from her sick in some way. But whatever, I'm not set on the idea like omg gonna be canon, just saying it could be a possibility.

I'm arguing storyline points based on imagines shown.

Derek crying? Stiles is in the background looking utterly confused.
Given the the image with Stiles, Lydia and Cora is from a jeep scene, you would have thought that if something suddenly happened to her there would be some sort of understanding.

I just don't buy that Cora is going to go downhill that quickly given how she was acting with Peter last time she was seen.

He looks more shocked to me rather than confused. And this is stiles we're talking about, he doesn't have sudden within-the-same-episode understanding with anyone.

Oh, I didn't mean like she was secretly sick all along. I mean like something happens to her, either whatever's got people sick at the hospital or maybe she gets injured in the fight. Though that would be really annoyingly repetitive on the wound healing thing from the last couple of episodes.
