I don't, but it's mostly because I attract a lot of flaky players, so I've been bitten one too many times by people who app in, make 2 or 3 posts, then drop or idle out or become so inactive they may as well not be there. Doing the "oh yay, my sibling/best friend/mentor is here, oh wait, now they're gone again" dance or having to constantly handwave or having my character icly distance themselves from an inactive castmate who's not giving them the attention they should over and over and over gets tiresome.
