Yer wonderful

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Let's Translate: AAI2

Some nice fellow on youtube is posting videos of translations for the cases in AAI2. They've been actively posting for a while and is currently working on case 3.

I figure I pass this along since that one fan translation group still hasn't released their translations yet.

As a note, this translator comes up with pun names for the new characters as if this were an actual localization. They do note their Japanese name once when first introduced and that's it. If you don't mind that, then this is probably the closest thing we're gonna get to something in english for this game for a while. Happy trails.

I really want to write a Shigaraki or Gregory after watching these, omg

"Athena is indeed the main character of case 3. The actual trial portion features Athena going up against Simon, with Apollo taking on the partner role."

I find this really interesting. With Phoenix getting back into a lawyer role, I was worried that they were going to go back to focus on him entirely, but it looks like each chapter might have a different "main character," maybe?

Apollo may get some real development. IIRC, They haven't said all THAT much about Phoenix, case-wise, so they may be pulling a semi-reverse AA4 and focusing on all the non-Phoenix characters.

Neat.

I'm kind of wondering how they're going to structure the game, to be honest. Part of me wonders if they'll do six cases and each playable character will have two cases each, or if they're going to follow the traditional five case formula with four being a flashback case where you play as someone completely different and with the fifth being a departure in that you're working on three interconnected cases with the three characters, culminating in Phoenix vs. Edgeworth, Apollo vs. Klavier, and Athena vs. Blackquill. I'm not sure which I prefer, honestly-the five case structure seems like it could make the last case into a tedious, overcomplicated mess, but I kind of get the feeling that if they did the six case structure it'd end with boring old Phoenix vs. Edgeworth.
