rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

...why? and how? do you keep all the tabs open and refresh every five minutes, or do you keep a list? either way, wouldn't checking email be easier...?

maybe they're someone that made a new email account for each character instead of consolidating them all together into one rp email?

that...ok, I can see that being a possibility. To do so is illogical beyond belief though.

there are a number of ways to connect emails so you only have to check one thing to see them all, though

As someone who used to check everything manually, it's infinitely easier to do it through e-mail. Gmail is especially wonderful because of how I can make filters for everything.

It's really useful because I play five characters across two games and then a few more in museboxes with hundreds or thousands of comments that makes manually checking anything a pain in the butt. It also makes it more difficult to lose track of things though I guess then when notifs don't work I might miss things too.

Of course, if you only play one character that's probably not going to be a problem. And if you don't have everything linked to one e-mail account I could see how that could make it more difficult too! But it's worth looking into, especially since some people do use PM to contact people for plots. I know if I don't have someone added on plurk I'd probably go that route instead of adding them especially if we don't have that much CR.
