Yer wonderful

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

i can do it logged in i guess. though i don't see why anon would be bad. if the crit was something like "you suck and you should drop" then obviously it can be disregarded. i wouldn't do that. but if i say "i'm not hearing this character's voice when you play them. like in this thread he said this, but in canon he's shown to behave in this manner and i was wondering what reasons you have for the shift" then why wouldn't that go over well?

because a lot of time people seem to be allergic to anon comments in their crit, especially in a game hmd.

most times that i see crit taken well is when the person is logged in and gives specific examples like, 'when x and y had this thread, i felt that the characterization was off a little here. i might have expected bb response instead of cc'. that way they know it's someone they're playing with and not someone just tossing in their 2 cents in the meme (which happens an awful lot). it also makes it less likely that someone will go off and be upset about 'the evil anons critting them' and be more likely to take it as what it is, CONSTRUCTIVE criticism when they know it's from someone they're playing with.
