I'm looking forward to the mind fuck that's going to happen at the motel tonight. All those fears and nightmares pretty much coming to live via the wolfsbane punch at Lydia's party, only like, x1000.

I honestly wouldn't have a single problem with the pairing if it had any set up whatsoever.

Ms Blake is the cliché 'only job is the fix the male character' character.
Derek? Will probably be the inevitable reason she ends up dead and/or evil for the sake of 'development'.

I haven't developed any liking to her character and by this point i've lost all interest in Derek. He's basically become the woobie that everyone plays him as.

And I would have been more willing to give a damn about the whole thing if the TW tumblr/all of the spoilers leading up to the season hadn't been pushing the point.

Why were they trying so hard to push this thing?

I think half the pushing was actually trolling for the Sterek fandom.

I don't care about any ships either way. I just want to enjoy watching all the crap that happens. Scott/Allison is really the only long lasting ship I can see coming out on top that I'd be okay with. The rest seem like the hopscotch-hormone game that happens when you have a teen show.

It's terrible but, I actually sympathise with the Sterek fans on this matter. Just because they really were led on, and still are, by the writers/the tumblr/the actors talking about it.

I don't blame them for getting pissed off. Especially when, as people have pointed out, Ms Blake's scenes? Very reminiscent of scenes Stiles has already had.

Either way. I don't care to watch any of the ships. The way they film the scenes just seems incredibly awkward and cringe-worthy at times. Good for tea breaks though.

I really actually don't like the comparison between Blake and Stiles. Like, at all. Ooh, they had a few scenes that were similar. She's not the female anti-Stiles.

That said, I don't care for her one way or the other. If she dies, it'll just add to Derek's whole guilt complex. If she doesn't, there's no way they're getting a happy ending because the show doesn't do happy endings. Blood, pain, death for everyone. With a lot of shirtless boy scenes. Personally, I'd like to see more scantily clad female scenes, but that's more for equality than because I actually care.

Anti-Stiles or not, personally I think the scenes were replicated out of lazy writing. They couldn't be bothered to build her up as a character from the start so, since a lot of people liked the Stile and Derek scenes, why not use those again and hope lightning strikes twice.

I admit i'm not looking forward to this episode just because every scene Ms Blake has been in has seemed terribly written and directed. The promo has the two making out with her hand literally in his open wound. Not the best of signs given that they're trying to make this relationship seem 'cute'.

As a side note though. Have we seen that scene of Derek crying yet? I don't recall it with Erica so, maybe that's going to be over her death instead.

Can I now say 'eww that editing'?

Who thought that that make-out would be best watched spliced into Scott's scuicide attempt?
