Technically, no he can't have nice things. Jeff has specifically stated that they enjoy writing Derek as being miserable.

As for Ms Blake? Yeah, I can see why she seems 'suspicious' but i'm not convinced that it's not just terrible writing.
They've had two scenes and they're both incredibly awkward from a character stand point.

Would I give a shit if they had sex? Not really.
And I say that as a Derek player.

Seriously. Maybe people are over compensating to show they aren't crazy sterek shippers or something, but the character is bland, and that shit is annoying.

For the most part she's just stood there and stared at shit. The scene with Derek in the classroom? Let me just ramble about my psychological problems to you creepy guy who broke it.

this exactly. i'm meh about her but the insane level of adoration is getting grating. if you don't like her then you must be some rabid slash shipper. shit's cray
