Thinking about it, but I'm confused over the rules for normal characters.

normal characters gain magical boy powers when they enter the game. simple as that.

Okay, but there's a section on the powers page titled "Powers for Normal Characters" which says "Every character brought into the game will be given a new power specifically for use in the game."

So does that mean that previously normal characters coming into the game will be given a new power that will be usable all the time? in their magical boy form only?

Or are "normal characters" those in the game who are not magical boys...but who get some new power instead or something?

They have access to powers in magical boy form. These forms are time-limited. You gain more time and raw power for your magical boy form as you gain levels. Some powers may be available outside of magical boy form, but they will all be limited. I believe it's mainly psychic powers that would bleed over.

Pretty sure this is all in the various info pages since that's what I read before joining.

Sorry, that last comment sounded really pa. I meant it as you can find more info there. I think the levels page has the stuff about time limits.

Thanks for helping to clarify. Guess I probably should have figured, but it's kind of a pity. I'm interested in playing my character against magical boys but not so much interested in turning him into a magical boy.

Ah, yeah. I think there was another game idea that had the premise of magical/non-magical boy characters together. I don't think it got off the ground, though.

Considering it. Seems like something different and the potential of sister-game is interesting, as is the prospect of cross-game events.

Never. I'd join a proper m/m event without mandatory connections to the f/f crap.

... or like plus negative one. In that I want a f/f game without dudes all up in it.
I'm just still sore about the lesbian space opera losing steam like four times, OK.
