I’ve been thinking about this for a while but how about a game based off of the Corpse Party series?

I was thinking that it would be a short term game most likely lasting 2-3 months, that then gets restarted for a new round / session.

Since groups are spilt up in the game I was thinking that each group would contain a max of 5 characters and that they’d be a max of 5 groups. Meaning there would be 25 characters trapped, if someone drops another person can app in to take the spot during the run of the round. I was thinking that other people could app in to be ghosts / spirits in the school so more people could be in game.

There’s really no way around the game not being small just due to the nature but I think it’d be an interesting short term game for the summer.
As for items and powers for characters, since you do keep whatever items are on you it’d stay like that. As for powers it’s most likely going to be nerf’d or turned in to a higher chance of being taken over by spirit / some form of the darkening meter system.

Death will be unavoidable for the most part; the series is based off people getting killed / being trapped. The session would end when either 1. All character die, or 2. They manage to reach the “main source” of evil within the school and please Sachiko.

Some other stuff
- Since it’d be a small game, people can only app one character at a time / per round.
- AC would either be a comment count or check in system.
- Log comm with maybe another comm for hand written notes that are posted in the school. There would be no network; most of the game would be face to face.
- Once your character dies you have to wait till the next round to app in again, since it’s implied Sachiko likes to time loop things you can still app the same character just without the memories of the last round they were in.
- There would be a decent amount of gore and horror
- The layout of the school would change each round(?) – still debating because you would still need to find the pathway leading to the basement each round.

Anyway thoughts, other ideas?
