Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

When I played in Luceti it wasn't all that uncommon because players enjoyed the penalties and they weren't permanent. I definitely saw some really creative penalties done while I played there.

This, the thing I like about death penalties in Luceti is that they can be anything the player wants them to be. There are the standard things like loss of a sense or memories or a skill, but there are also plenty of players who have come up with some really creative and/or character-specific things to do. Right now there's one character who lost their soul as a result of a death penalty and lacks the ability to feel emotions because of it.

Also some of the creative uses people came up with for their characters to deal with them. Like Kain and his flashcards. I know one character used Hyt to write with light to deal with their inability to speak.

Kain's player is a good example of people who need to stop killing their characters. For a while they did nothing but torture the character.

It was like he was a cartoon character getting killed every few months.
