rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. So they just banned the use of embedded videos in character posts out of the blue. Thoughts?

Like even aside from massive numbers of sometimes very long video posts (I think I saw one that was 12 minutes before? Really? I don't want to watch your whole damn show) there are people with hearing disabilities who literally can't even respond to a post if there isn't at least a transcript or summary. We've got more than one player like this, so that should be reason enough to have banned them in the first place.

That + when you embed constantly it gets really annoying, hard to respond to, it's not creative, and people with slow connections or people who tag from places other than the comfort of their bedroom and don't have a fancy smart phone are basically fucked.
