Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

As someone who's into milder "bathroom stuff" (e.g. bathroom control/desperation, pantswetting, maybe light watersports), it's always bugged me that those kinks get lumped in with, say, scat or human toilets. It feels like it makes it much harder to find people willing to play, even when they're into those things, since "no bathroom stuff" is all over as a permanent disclaimer.

That said, for the majority of players who really do want nothing to do with bathroom-type content, it is probably the simplest way to put it. It's just frustrating how often "No bathroom stuff" seems to stand in for "Too lazy to list any real prefs but, you know, not creepy."

I feel you anon, I'm into urethral play. But I don't know if they're the kind of person that includes anything involving the piss hole as "bathroom stuff" or if it's just the waste thing.

I'd wonder if they're bad at words or don't know all the terms for the things they like/don't like.

idk, I feel like there should be one big consistent dictionary of everything with definitions and alternate terms listed and we could just tick off yes/no/maybe/ask.

I mean I know there's stuff like The Rabbit Hole and such, but I don't really think they explain much on what a given thing entails or alternate terminology people might be more familiar with.

At least one of those sites like the rabbit hole does explain what the things are, but the problem is there is just too much. You shouldn't have to say "no hardcore vore, no soft vore, no anal vore, no vaginal vore, no rebirth" if all you want to say is "no vore at all" But then, for the people that are okay with soft vore, they should probably say "soft vore only" not "no hardcore etc." and just leave out the "no soft vore"

The problem with "bathroom stuff" though is that it's much more broad a category than it should be, and it's usually the only no category too. (even though you can probably assume that they'd say no to other things as well) So yes, a list might be good, but it needs to be much, much more condensed than the rabbit hole stuff.
