Gonna be real honest. Y'all been saying that for a year. I stopped paying attention back in October. Maybe it will one day, maybe it won't. Call us when you actually have something worth saying, like a suggestion, or something going wrong, or maybe heaven forbid something you're actually enjoying.

the actual translation: i am in the game and having fun and am aware that other people are not having fun so they go on rpanons or wankgate to talk about not having fun in a way that doesn't bash the mod team or cause problems, and i am very, very sick of seeing people who are having fun making my game look like a clusterfuck of three year olds who can't handle hearing something negative about something they enjoy and probably shouldn't go on rpanons and/or wankgate if they can't stop that knee from jerking!

You're missing one important thing. This anon has been saying the exact same thing for a year. Yet for some reason it's not going down.

you don't have to point out that fact is what i'm saying. jesus christ. it's literally not hurting the game at all for people to come here and vent about how they're not having a good time - and they DO actually have a point because we've seen an increase in drops and a decrease in apps. asgard has the tamest wank out of all the games i've been in and yet people react like the anons who come here to vent are setting pictures of the mods on fire and rallying in the streets to have the game shut down.

when people see someone complaining about how they feel the game has gone downhill and then get someone flying off the handle about that small comment acting like they need to defend the game's honor, they're put off by it. and so for as long as "this anon" has been saying that, "you" have been commenting to argue with them and it makes everyone look bad. so just stop. let them complain. something constructive could come out of it. nothing constructive comes out of jumping in to say I'M HAVING FUN AND IF YOU'RE NOT WELL THEN YOU SHOULD JUST DROP. its not doing anything but making the playerbase look obnoxious as hell.

So why can't they just say that they're not having fun, and why, instead of repeating the same tired lie every time?

"I'm not having fun and here's why," makes more sense than needlessly jabbering, "OMG THIS GAME IS DYING!" every other week for a year.

my first comment to you was "stop whiteknighting". the thread stopped being about the anon above you and became all about what YOU are doing. you're overreacting to every single complaint and then acting as if you're justified because ~oh the mean anons are saying the game is dying~ and because of what YOU and I mean YOU not THEM because of what YOU are doing you are making the game look far worse than they ever could. you are the most obnoxious person that i have ever met and people complaining about how the game is dying are just as valid as you are because a good deal of older players have dropped out and we're seeing less and less apps and even less people wanting to app in. there could be reasons for this but there is also the undeniable fact that when most old players joined the game it was incredibly fast paced and compared to that it has slowed to a crawl. yet some people continue to play there because they're having fun and so the game has some life in it but that doesn't mean that it's also not undergoing a death of sorts.

you're more of a problem than they are and i'm so, so sorry you can't see it.

if fucking paradisa is still limping along i'm sure asgard will be fine and as long as the game doesn't go full pants on head retarded and shut down 1: immediately like institute or 2: like sirens pull I think things will be okay

if the game's still good for you, and you haven't experienced most of the people on your plurk who play here talk about dropping, i'm honestly happy for you. that's not my situation. real plot hasn't happened in some time now. the events that we do get feel recycled. i know the long break was not the mods' idea, i was there when it was decided, but they should have realized it was not beneficial when the complaints started kicking in. now, people are no longer as willing to stick around and wait to be amazed. most of my cr is "wrapping up threads" and readying to drop.

if you're in a happy place with this game, cool. maybe the glass looks fuller from your corner. it's emptying really fast from mine.

yeah, i'm still enjoying the game, but a lot of my cr is with newer apps. which is cool and i like who's coming in, but it gets discouraging when your character is all that's left of their former circle, especially if they don't have canonmates to fall back on.

the more easy-going events don't bother me since so many people are on hiatus, but i'm looking forward to going back to the war tone.

cr dropping is my major buzzkill in any game. sometimes it's just easier to leave instead of starting over.

i wouldn't mind if there were more missions related to the war effort tho. like opt-in skirmishes/recon and encouragement/benefits for general research.
