Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Re: Things games must have
(Anonymous) 2013-05-08 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)I do feel that games should have a locked contact post. I know I'm not alone in my hesitance to provide some forms of contact info on a public post. It's not because I am unwilling to be contacted, it's because if I do provide it for a public post, I get spammed.
Also, a definite must is answering questions to the FAQ post in a timely manner. Make an effort to at least give a "we're discussing this and will get back to you in X amount of time" within 24-48 hours to each player who asks a question, if not an outright answer. Nothing can make a game look worse to a potential player than to see questions on there go unanswered for weeks on end. If you have multiple mods, have each mod track with their personal journal or a character journal.
