I think a good tip would be to remember these characters pretty much lived for their cause. Anything else was sort of secondary. It gives them a focused drive and precise outlook on life. The biggest thing a lot of these types of character fall into in RP form is becoming a cockhop and only existing for shipping. It often leads to forgetting their original purpose and point.
