apper here! super nervous to see what the mods will say but glad i tried. everyone here are real cuties and tried to put my best foot forward in the app.

cant wait to see some of accepted like totoro and david long and kitten! hope boy blue and the naruto players get in and everyone else who are still pending because everyone took a lot of effort in their works from what i read.

Honestly, I'm side-eying the fuck out of the fact that the mun of Boy Blue got not just one character, but two accepted.

Mun also plays Bolin. She's barely passed the AC the last couple of rounds, and then only by talking to the mods and posting new activity at the very last minute. The Joker's app originally was rejected because the mun barely passed AC the previous month, and Bolin has barely passed it at least twice in a row now, if not since he was accepted.

Is Bolin around much? I'm always hesitant to call people out on activity, since Luceti is such a huge game and you can't really keep track of everyone, but I remember seeing a post from that character that had tons of threads that were dropped early and some comments that weren't even replied to.

Not really. I have CR with a lot of the cast, so I generally read their posts and I almost never see Bolin around them, and if he shows up he drops early.

They drop threads pretty fast, which is disappointing because the character seems like fun.

Actually, I'm speaking more of the fact that last two ACs Bolin has shown up on the danger list with the symbol of needing to link additional activity. That alone says he didn't have enough to pass and had to talk to a mod. Seriously, if you can't scrape up 30 comments with one character, you don't have any business apping two more in the same cycle.

That's kind of what I meant. When I thought back on it, that post really looked like it was there to scrape up enough comments for AC. If threads are being dropped that quickly, it makes me wonder how they make activity.

They sure haven't been for the past couple of ACs. Bolin also has only been in the game since September, so that's four ACs and two that I remember needing additional activity with.

Well Blue's a castmate for Masa, so...really I'll call mod favoritism there, I've seen enough apps rejected for activity problems not nearly as bad as Bolin's.

The only thing that confuses me is why would Masa want a castmate who is inactive? It just seems like an ass backwards abuse of power.

I believe in some of the previous cases, complaints were made prior to the apps getting accepted. Did anyone voice concerns to the mods about Bolin-mun's activity before hand?

And how are we supposed to know this? The mods keep saying that if a player doesn't have enough activity they will not accept a new app from that player until the player shows they can make AC without needing to talk to the mods. The mods have stated numerous times they keep track of this so they should know already that there is a problem without us telling them. Heck, we only know Joker's app was rejected the first time for that reason because the mun had no issue sharing it.

Seriously, what part of he's not passing the AC without talking to a mod and posting new activity are you failing to understand? That's not just a subjective the character isn't active enough, that's a he's not following the rules. If RL is being a pain, that's understandable, but Bolin-mun should be held to the same standard other muns in that boat are held to and been told to wait a cycle and show they have fixed the issues causing the need to talk to the mods to pass AC two times in a row now and we shouldn't have to tell the mods how to do what they have told us many times they are doing already.

I admit, this all makes it blatantly obvious that the mods aren't actually keeping tabs on who is only passing the AC by talking to a mod like they say they are and is showing evidence of a massive failure at communication between the mods.

I don't think anyone did, partially because unless you're a mod with all the info that's gathered at AC time it can be hard to track so many people's activity with how large the game is. The last time a character was rejected on grounds of activity, I believe the mod's made the rejection of their own accord without any complaints being lodged beforehand.

i once had the mods tell me i had to wait another cycle to app a new character. no one had complained, the mods just told me that they'd noticed that i didn't have enough activity for my existing character in the last ac and had had to post more and so they wanted to see me pass the next ac before they would let me app a new character.
