Nobody flicks me in the butt without my consent

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Frankly, I think the older characters and muns are a lot of the problem.

I dropped this game because I tried to thread with all three of the main mods multiple times and was brushed off in favor of the same old cliques. If even the mods won't make the slightest effort to tag outside their cliques, why should I stick around and hope anybody else will?

Wow, I tried to tag three players in a game with at least one hundred and fifty, and our characters just didn't click! Better write off the whole game!

No seriously, that's a very small pool you're sampling from, even if you're just talking about older players. I've been here for four years, and I have more CR with the mod NPCs than their normal characters.

you do realize that mods of games are generally a bad example to use for this kind of thing, right? their main priority should be keeping the game running and if that means they need to keep their cr circle smaller in order to be able to play in the game and keep up with all of the nitty-gritty modding stuff, then that's how it goes. frankly i'd be happy to trade being able to have cr with mod characters for a game that runs smoothly.

i'm not denying that older players are part of the problem but come on, at least pick a better example than mods.
