it's more the fact that many anons are spouting how flaky the mods are, how flaky the potential players are and how the game is doomed over and over to the point that i have to assume grudgewank because why the fuck else would anyone care so much

But why are they so concerned? They're obviously not interested so the reasonable thing would be to, idk, not pay it any mind?

The people who are concerned about flake mods should just not apply. A bigger concern is the low quality of the current apps. Rejections are in order for a good number of them.
