I'm canon blind but I've heard the Archer is actually good from a friend who knows the canon. Apparently he's supposed to be like that.

I don't know the canon much either and I don't have much problem with how Archer is played, but his player seems kinda off somehow. I can't really explain it except I feel awkward talking to him/her.

that doesn't really have anything to do with roleplay until they actually do something wrong, that's just your personal feelings.
