i feel like i keep missing out on cr with some characters because i can't boomerang tag with them all the time. the times i'm online and tagging i get a decent thread going with them, but then i have to leave for work and the next day they don't tag back at all. i've tried asking some for threads and plotting with them, but it feels like they only want to talk about it instead of playing it and i keep being asked if we can just handwave instead.

stop bothering with them? idk. there's plenty of (talented) fish in the sea in this game.

how do obscure characters do here?

also, I know the game accepts craus: how do people react to those/does anyone actually app them?

so long as you can write them to be interesting and tag out, I don't see any reason for you not to get heaps of cr.

obscure can do fine if you put the effort into it. be engaging and be interesting

we have a few if you count the one episode in the whole series characters

I've had CR with a bunch of CRAUs without realising or caring they were CRAUs. I don't think people here care as long as you play the character well.

Also, there are really popular obscure characters, and I play lcws who have no problem at all getting lots of varied CR, so if you've got an obscure lcw, anon, you'll be just fine.

i'd remind craus/ocs that no one owes their life stories to them. don't get frustrated when fandom chars lie or shoot them down.

i play an obscure character and i'm lcw, i've been here for forever. it's great, just make sure to tag around. craus are fine, just remember no-one owes you cr and you still have to tag out and build relationships regardless.

I've had this same issue, so I stopped caring about trying to tag them and I have much more fun with others now.

are you me anon? the other anon is right. find other fish. most casts like to tag out and not all of them boomerang.

tag others. there are plenty of fun, reliable players in this game.

if you consistently only tag back once a week or so and ask for new threads, then i'll want to handwave sometimes. because it's awkward trying to run multiple threads at once when they all go that slowly. but if you're having a problem with people dropping you when you don't respond in a few days, i'd suggest moving onto other players.

I'm a slower tagger too but I've had good luck keeping threads going with these guys.

-1 to Jackson, that player is a known flake who barely shows up outside of her own posts and sometimes castmates.

in my experience, Rory doesn't backtag too far. that may vary from player to player.

Ah, I see on Jackson.

I once left a thread of Rory's for two weeks, then when I tagged it again finally they picked it right back up, so my experience has been good. I'm not a castmate.

-1 on Jackson too. I like Jen but she's a massive shiny syndrome flake and pain to attempt to plot with. ymmv but done ok with Rory, heard ok things about threading with Rory as long as you stand your ground with the mun.
