The kid just rages for a while

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

If it's possible to build cases against various NPC villains and get them punished individually (since obviously taking down the whole Consortium would be both impractical and game-ending), sign me the hell up!

I've modded NPC heavy games in the past, and it's exhausting, but it's also pretty fun if you're a player in such a game. I think some sort of system that allowed players to temporarily sign up to be a helper mod and control an NPC or two for one plot line might help a lot with that.

Excellent idea. :) I'm inclined to think, though, that activity level should probably play a role in who's allowed to sign up for NPC duty. I wouldn't want to be stuck with someone with an overinflated sense of their ability to devote the necessary time to be in such a role, after all.

Not a bad idea.

Another solution might be to have dedicated administrative Mods who deal with apps and drops and updating lists and AC and blah blah blah, and then to have dedicated NPC mods who just run plots and play NPCs.
