rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. Though I'd been aware of LJ/DWRP for ages, I'd never really considered it my thing because I'd cut my RP teeth on OC RP over in other forums or on AIM or whatever, but then some friends in a really tiny obscure fandom led me over to Somarium so I could play in their bitty cast. It was fun for a while (read: like two weeks) but the character was just a really awful fit for Somarium's slice of life setting and one of my castmates was on me all the time about tags when at the time I was still in school and working full time. So I kind of bunkered down and idled out which was, admittedly, pretty shitty of me.

It did make me really wary of LJ/DWRP for a while though; I think it was a solid year before I tried again and got hooked.
