Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Seeking advice, wise anons.

How long, roughly, should a smut thread optimally be? I get it has to be over 20 for AC, and stuff, but well, I never know if I'm boring my partner. Should I just expect to wind things down after about that many comments, or one orgasm?

I just don't want to drag something out and mess up someone's status AC count because I'm having too much fun and want to go for another round or some cuddly pillow talk. And I know I could just ask but I figured maybe I could get a sort of consensus feel by asking here.

I would say if you're unsure, pm the other person and ask if they want to keep going or if they'd like to wrap it up. If you're all for going, maybe state that you're okay with that, but that you'd understand if they wanted to wrap it up. Maybe suggest plotting out another thread, which will get you both new status ac points and still keep you both playing together so that one doesn't feel slighted.

Just ask.

For myself, I'd like for it to go as long as it possibly can.

Depending on the content, it could be short like that, but I've got a one-on-one thread that, including pre and post sex stuff, hit 169 comments. See how things are going, ask the other person, whatev.

Maybe bad for status AC, but for me, at least, status AC is huuuuuuugely secondary to good, satisfying threads.
