so how about that new chapter?

I have been enjoying the latest updates tbh but I was disappointed with no Mito. I was really hoping we'd get to see at least an appearance from her, maybe rushing in to make herself a Jinchuuriki and save Hashirama's butt, but then again it's Naruto so that was always a long shit lol.

And the point of that 2-month long flashback was...what, again?

Like the above anon said, I'm disappointed that we didn't see any Mito, but I really enjoyed the flashback. It had a strong contrast in tone with Tobi's version of the story, even if there weren't any strictly factual conflicts. Plus, I have to admit, I find Hashirama really endearing.

That said, I'm hoping we'll get a Hashirama & Madara battlefield reunion. Good times :D

i liked the part where hashirama admits that they have to make some impossible choices and even when they think it's for the good of the village/the greater good, sometimes they are very, very wrong.

despite not being overly fond of sasuke, i'm really curious to see what he does next- because he's heard the same story from two very different perspectives, as an anon above said, so what does he do now? bide his time til the battle is over and wait for the outcome? join tobi and madara, possibly with the hokages under his control? rejoin the side of konoha? of course he'll probably still go the REVENGE REVENGE REVENGE path because no uchiha seems capable of making rational, reasonable decisions, but i can dream

i haven't read naruto since kakashi got killed

kind of a lot

but the most relevant? kakashi was kind of back to life by the end of that arc

the manga turned to shit at the end of that arc so you quit at a good time

Let's not fool ourselves anons, it was shit for a long time before that

even at age 14, i knew it went to the dogs around the kakuzu and hidan arc.

I'd say the quality hemorrhage began all the way back in the Sasuke In A Barrel arc, but that's about where the damage became fatal, yeah

so glad we're done with all that ninja romeo and juliet shit

I haven't read since Jiraiya died. What ever happened with Sasuke and Naruto? Are they friends again or finally banging or what?
