my current game isn't working out for me so i'm seeking greener pastures!!!

i play kaworu nagisa from the canon of neon genesis evangelion (manga), and i'm looking for a slow to medium paced game with low to modern tech. i like jamjars with networks, and for this specific character, i prefer settings that extract characters from their home worlds rather than integrating a character into the game's setting. i'm into sci-fi and horror (who would have guessed), but they aren't necessary elements!

i don't need a place that has castmates, but if anyone needs a kaworu for their NGE cast (somehow), i wouldn't mind looking into it!!

if anyone has any suggestions i'd deeply appreciate it. i'm looking around myself, of course!

ryan's gulch (

ryansgulch) seems to fit a lot of your preferences! it's set in the bioshock universe, which is sort of 1950s but with plasmids. plasmids are optional, but they involve some gengineering malarkey and allow users to gain special abilities.

it's slow-medium, faster at the end of the month (unfortunately, we've got more than a few squatters, but they're avoidable). it's jamjar and has a network, and there's a choice between AU'ing in your character and having them transported in by in-game elements.

i consider it sci-fi and horror, but you'll probably have to dig for the horror on your own for now since the plot is still in its early stages and the darker elements of the bioshock universe are only starting to come to light.
