But little did they know

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

it's just gotten slower which i really don't mind. it's bringing in new blood that usually only app to slow/medium games plus i can keep up with it better despite getting a busier schedule. i feel like i have more varied cr now without the pressure of having to boomerang tag to keep up with things.

As I said in WG, it's been like this for months. You can notice better now and it'll be more noticeable the more we lose players.

Repeat after me: slowing down does not mean the game is dying. Know what does kill games? People bitching that the game is dying! If you're concerned about the speed of the game then how about enabling people rather than making them wary to join. The number of people who app in each round near always greatly exceeds the number of characters dropped over each fortnight, I would not call that a dying game.

I've been in slow games, and I've seen them die a slow and painful death - you can notice the difference. Things going slowly =/= things not going. I believe we're in a case of the second.
