Really? There's a section for ATP, so it's never felt strange to me.

For my part, I'm waiting 'til the season finale to app, because the characters I'm interested in playing are either at a point in their arc where I can't predict where they're going, or don't have their past filled in enough for me to play them without getting jossed on their history down the line.

Regina and Hook or Neal? I guess the first could apply to most of the cast. I felt kinda iffy about apping the character I apped to a game when I did, but I was afraid someone would app before I could and that character's arc is pretty well set rn.. Until the show causes it to veer wildly off course, but that's always a problem with ongoing canons.

Snow and Neal, actually. I really want to see what fallout there's going to be before I app Snow anywhere - if the show takes a sharp left turn into what-the-fucksville, I can always app from an earlier canon point, but I'd like to see what they're doing with things in canon before I make that choice. And Neal's history is pretty much a blank slate outside of a few glimpses.

There need to be more Snow players out there and yeah, I like the direction they're going, but so much is in flux that it'd be a pain in the ass to play her. But I hope it works out because Snow would be really fun in a game. :c

And ahhh. Neal is the canonmate I want most, because I've become really attached to him and would just love to STALK one in a game because of his general "no fucks given" attitude, but I know no one will play him at least until the end of the season when we might get a little more backstory than what we have. But I'm glad to see how many people are interested in him.

Neal is actually the one I most want to play of the two, and yeah, his whole "nope, not putting up with this bullshit" thing would be a lot of fun in a game. If they don't give enough backstory to at least make a reasonable framework to fill in the blanks, I will cry.

Snow at least does give the option of saying "nope, I'm stopping here, because that shark was jumped on neutron-powered jet skis". ~~I used to play in the SPN fandom, learning to say "...and I'm just stopping now" is a survival skill.~~

Yeeeah, but I have faith they aren't going to make her Elvira or something equally fucked up, but ANNNNNNGST for four episodes until she mans up about what she did and overcomes it is also sort of obnoxious, so basically MIDDLE GROUNDS, SHOW. DON'T SCREW IT UP. ~~But I'm also one of those people who hasn't stopped watching SPN, even if the character I play from it is long dead.~~
