rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I love it so far! Especially because you include all the things I love about GB and we need more games like that: full powers, coming with items too from that 4th wall business I suppose?, doing whatever the hell you want for drama to crack. Yaaaay.

Kudos for accepting canon OCs which I personally love (just please remember to add some kind of rule saying it's a case by case basis... like, random Pokemon trainer? Good! The lost son of Sam Winchester? Not good). Not an OC player, but I think it'd be great if you accept those too. The only thing I'm not big on it's AU - unless you mean canonical different universes? (Like comics!Thor and movie!Thor) But I know that's a very YMMV so - just an opinion, not real critic.

They can arrive with their items, yes, and if they want anything else of theirs they can pretty much will it into existence, or go find it at The Fourth Wall.

I figure one of the taglines to the game is 'If you say it isn't possible, it'll probably happen.'

And yeah, that was what I meant to cover mostly in canon OCs, aha. Silent protagonists and otherwise NPCs from other universes. Self-insert gratification OCs are what FFn is for.

But as for AUs I might be a little more broad in them than that. Like... maybe they're canon until they got to a certain point and now a player wants to explore what they'd be like if they chose Path B instead of Path A, or maybe if their parents hadn't died, but something else had spurred them on a quest of vengeance (Batman: My doggy is DEAAAD). Or yeah like Canon AUs. But I think I'd probably say no to like... cross-canon or genre-splicing like that AU. Like... what if Asuka Sohryu became a magical girl?

... That would be hilarious if she made a contract with Kyubey because she's totally the type that would but no.
