Legal threads right now. Curious how this is going to play out.

It seems pretty obvious that it's Chloe's side that's going to 'win' with her having more mod interaction and older players. Honestly, can we just get this wrapped up and mive on? I want my character to not be so hung up over this, but it'd be OOC of him not to.

Honestly, from having written storylines with the Chloe Mun I think you will find there's every chance that Chloe's side will 'Lose'.

They are one of the few muns I have seen play out things like this with the full knowledge and expectation that their character has to deal with the consequences of their actions. If anything, they encourage that.

I think it's really unfair to assume that just because that mun works is a mod helper (not just has mod interaction) that they can do as they please.

I personally at least, would be more unimpressed if they glossed over and rushed a plot like this. I get you might not like your character being hung up on it but at least they're trying to be respectful to the process?

I have had nothing but good interactions with Chloe-mun. Personally, I'm a little jealous of how well they keep up with their characters, and take the time to plot with other players and make some really interesting character development storylines. It's a shame how few players actually take that sort of thing into consideration, especially when it comes to long-term plots and commitments. I've never had a problem plotting with them, and I'm positive what's going on right now, whether Chloe's side wins or loses, will be the result of some stellar IC development, and not because of some arbitrary concept people have come up with because they so happen to be friendly with the mods.

As someone that's played out scenes where they accepted their losses after losing fair an squarely? Yeah, I have no doubts that they'll either win or lose over IC reasons, not because they think Chloe is a precious snowflake that must win at every turn. I have no doubt that they'll handle the plot fairly.

I suppose, yes. It just seems needless when the outcome is already practically known.

How is the outcome practically known? Yes Chloe is going away for a month during the legal preceedings, but we don't know how the outcome will be and there's been literaly no indication 'Chloe's going to win' or 'Chloe's going to lose'. Honestly, I give props to the mun for actively putting aside a whole month just to dedicate to this plot instead of making a quick thing of it to make sure they make AC like some people tend to do with plots like these. It shows dedication to the plot. Just because the mun is a mod helper doesn't mean the mods are going to pat some ass or that they're going to pat mod's ass. They're playing out the plot and if you don't like the plot you don't have to participate, no skin off your back you know?

Just my lengthy two cents. I for one am going to stalk this like crazy considering Faith is making death threats to Chloe's CR. I hope someone plays that out!!
