Preserve your precious virginity

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

what are you talking about? swapping journals took three rename tokens on lj.

What are you talking about. It took one. You bought one and as long as you owned the journal that you wanted to switch names with, you could do it in one. It just changed the journal whose name you were taking to some randomly numbered thing.

ie; if my journal name had been bob and I wanted to change it to carl, I could go make the journal carl with the same email to verify it and password as bob's. Then, I'd use my rename token and bob would now be carl and carl would be 282840 or something.

I still think 15 to rename your journal is a bit pricey, especially with so many people dumping journal names after hoarding them in the first place.

Renames are a surprisingly large server load, so the high cost is to discourage people from doing it regularly.
