Preserve your precious virginity

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.

Ooooh, this is going to get a bit rambly...lately I've been on a bit of a space western kick with Borderlands 2. In the same vein of black comedy/psuedo-history, there's the Fallout series and Bioshock. You also can't really go wrong with Portal or Ace Attorney.

...I think most of those still have fandoms.

Bioshock 1+2 are the best for plot, I'd say, and the setting's fascinating. Fallout 3 has a good storyline and I prefer it to New Vegas, but New Vegas lets the player have a greater impact on the plot and is more thorough and well-integrated, if that makes sense. The general opinion between those two is that people prefer whichever one they played first. Borderlands 1+2 both suffer from mediocre plot, but the art is really fun and the characters are fantastic. Borderlands has fantastic co-op multiplayer, too.
