Are we really heading into end-game? I'm new and haven't really settled in yet, so I'm sort of wondering if this is where things are headed. If so, I might quietly bow out, simply because I don't want to write a finale when I'm barely into act I, if you will.

considering they said app rounds would only be closed for april as opposed to closed forever, i suspect it is not end game yet and shit will come up that will render the 'you're going home soon!' moot

I think we are heading into end-game, but just not this soon since the above anon mentioned apps being closed for April only. It probably won't happen until much, much later anyway.

also new to the game anon and this kinda freaked me out, too, but I think either the going home thing will blow up in everyone's face horrifically or the use of the word "freedom" in Maestro's post means a different thing to our character/us than it does to him.

As someone who was considering apping, that's a little disheartening to hear because it makes me wonder if I should or if I should start the game search again.

pretty sure this is gonna be just another big event like the alderamin trip. I doubt they'd pull an end game plot right after switching mods and installing a long term tag system, especially without telling us it's end game. that wouldn't make sense.

i don't think we're going in to endgame either, but i can understand why people would think that. it's possible. jamie is the new head mod after all

Just because that character said the Gods were almost at full power doesn't mean a thing. It's like a parent on a long road trip telling the kids they'll be where they're going soon just to shut them up.

And even if they were at full power soon, any sort of large attack or something that required them to expend a lot of power would set everything back pretty far. So it's probably going to tie into the event, and then things'll go back to "no we need you to worship so we can get back our power" and things'll keep chugging along.
