Whether it's a certain character, a kick-ass thread, the players, the events, the mod staff. Whatever it is, big or small, tell me why you love Haven.

Or to be more specific, one thing that I think really sets this game apart from others is the mod staff, and by that I mostly mean Blue. She basically runs the plots single-handedly and is dedicated to making them interesting and fun for a lot of players. But more than that, I really really appreciate that punctuality of things in this game. There's a schedule that's actually followed, so you know exactly when events, apps, and whatever are going to be up and dealt with. It's an impressive feat to have this kind of schedule and stick to it, since I've honestly never seen it in any other game. In terms of modding, I think this game is my gold standard now.

Seconding this. Blue is a super dedicated mod and the effort she puts into the game seems to rub off on the players. In my experience she's always been quick to answer questions and concerns, plus she's really friendly and approachable.

thirding this! not only is she dedicated, she's devoted. you can really tell she loves the game, and she loves to mod. she takes a lot of care to make events and plots not only interesting, but personalized, too, so that no character/player ever truly experiences the same thing as another. she puts a lot of work into being very accommodating, without being a pushover, and i'm glad people are recognizing this because it's honestly my gold standard too. i've been around my fair share of dwrps but in none of them have i ever come to know a mod quite like blue. I'M SO THANKFUL FOR HER!

How do obscure-canon LCWs tend to fare in this game?

there are quite a few, anon! i play one and i haven't had any trouble getting tags or interest. it helps, of course, to make yourself available and approachable oocly as well, so if you don't already have plurk, try and get one and reach out to the playerbase! :) they're all very welcoming from what i've experienced, but it can be hard to get a post noticed when the game has gotten as large as it has, so being able to advertise it and/or discuss it oocly is ideal!

Speaking as one: great! It helps that there're a few of us, as well as players with small casts from obscure, or not necessarily very popular fandoms. I also know some people who find the rooming system very helpful, because you have CR with a variety of characters from the get go!

I saw this upthread in Holly Heights, and I thought it was a bit different! Tell me who's reliable in terms of tagging back your posts if you tag theirs, maintaining the CR, and not thread-dropping.
