	In Haven, we are all safe The buzzing of an alarm clock wakes you from an exceptionally heavy slumber, the light shining across your face suggests early morning, but that's where any similarity to a normal morning ends. The bed is one of six in this unfamiliar room, and the others seem to be occupied by people just as confused as you. The view outside the window is of a desolate city - abandoned, falling into disrepair, eerily silent. A huge peeling billboard shows a smiling man and woman holding gas masks, and the slogan across the bottom says: IN HAVEN, WE ARE ALL SAFE... TOGETHER Premise Haven is a plot-driven horror game. It is panfandom; open to canon characters, canon AUs (please see the FAQs for clarification), OCs and characters with previous game memories. The characters wake up in an abandoned town called Haven, with no memory of how they got there. The town itself seems to be uninhabited... most of the time. Sometimes noises can be heard in the dark, or figures can be seen running down alleyways in the distance. And there's the feeling of being watched. Haven will have monthly events, and more information can be found on the setting and premise pages. How hard is this game to keep up with? I've been thinking about apping but I want to make sure I'm not getting in over my head. What's the average tagging speed? How often do you need to check the community in order to keep up with it? I like to think I'm not ridiculously slow but I'm also not the world's fastest tagger. So basically I guess what I'm asking is could someone who plays at a medium-ish pace do okay here or do you have to be super-fast?

we actually have a pretty good backtag culture going, which means that you don't need to be on top of everything and raring to tag at all times to get good threads. it is pretty important to at least know what's going on with the monthly-or-so events, but you don't have to arrive as soon as they start to get threads, and i've seen threads still going that are 2-3 months old on them.

so basically, yeah, i think you'd do fine.

Sadly, not much has changed since the last update, since we've been pretty busy irl! We're currently trying to hammer out the details of the plot timeline, since that's pretty important in a plot-based game.

Once again, any and all feedback is appreciated! Tentatively looking at a spring launch, more likely to be mid-late spring than early.

My character being abused/bullied repeatedly but them choosing not to tell anyone and trying to handle it themselves. I want to see my character pushed to the brink. But I know it's a subject a lot of people won't touch with a ten foot pole.

I wish there was an easy way to tell my friend that I'm happier when I pretend her character is an OC because I hate her canon so much.
