I talked about it last meme but I've thought about it a lot more now. I've thought of two scenarios but am running into issues so I'd love to hear opinions.

The game will take place years and years after the third movie and I expect I (or whoever may be interested in making this game since I'm not sure I know how to run a game) won't allow Matrix characters to app bc they'd know too much. In the first scenario, my idea is that the resistance is winning against the machines. More and more people are rejecting the Matrix and coming to live in Zion and the human farms have been annihilated so the machines are losing their power source and are unable to grow new humans. So they develop a technology to pull people from other worlds and times except the technology is stolen by the resistance who do not know how to turn it off. People keep coming through and the resistance tries to recruit them while the Zionites dislike the refugees (as they call them) since they're already limited on supplies and space. The machines will do anything to get these people and their technology back and throw shit at everyone every other week or whatever. The only thing I can't make sense is how to do this because if the machines are messing with the humans with attacks or whatever then that means they know where Zion is and should just go there to get there shit back so I'm not sure how to work this. I also would like there to be the possibility to enter the matrix but what for, i don't know.

The other idea, that I think would be a lot cooler but a lot less popular is this. All these fandom characters are in the matrix. One by one, they've rejected it and wake up in this desolate world and are taken by the resistance to Zion where they've just found out their whole lives have been a lie. They then choose to fight or live in Zion. This would mean no powers which I know is unpopular. I also don't know how to explain why the machines would have so many different matrix worlds like people from Merlin wake up from a medieval time period and people from Supernatural wake up from a modern time period, etc. etc. Why would there be so many different time periods, worlds, etc. The machines got bored and decided to entertain themselves? idk.

Anyone care to develop this more (bc like I said I'm not sure I want to run a game) or give me some ideas?

Me and some friends have been tossing around the idea of a game exclusively for pre-2000s canons.

The suggested plot was that an evil Carl Macek expy was trying to bowdlerize your universe.

A character I want to write is kidnapped for a year, sees her husband shot before her eyes and believes he's dead, and during that year is treated as both a sex slave and basically a punching bag. After she escapes, how would you write PTSD? I don't want to use a bunch of cliches, but I also want it to be realistic. Help?

I'm still working out the kinks of how she'd communicate on a grander scale than just offering her bits and pieces of advice as she does in-game, but I'm wondering if anyone has any tips for playing her in environments where she would be without her powers or items to consult with, as well as a number of different cultures/species.

just started playing wow's starter edition trial and forgot how boring it is before raids, guilds, pvp, instances, etc.
