tl;dr - Tyki raped Tony and now they've got some bizarre ship thing going on (extra to Tony's in-game ship with the Dollhouse OC). I'd say Stockholm but after anon abused that word a post or two back in the anoncomm, lol no

That's pretty much what it was. The entire thing was played out as being extremely unhealthy and fucked up. Gave him a boatload of trauma that he still hasn't worked through, a year after the fact.

Ben being one of the only other people who knows and trying to work him psychologically through that mess is part of the reason those two are together now, I believe.

Except the entire time the muns and their friends were squeeing about the ship OOC, calling it hot, amazing, etc., repeatedly didn't put up warnings and tons of other things that show they weren't treating it as fucked up. Those characters and that "plot" are a perfect example of slash fans who think rape is the best plot device to have your kawaii OOC buttsex AND emo drama.

I am just shocked Tony didn't somehow get pregnant as icing on the cake.

If they ever called it hot, it was usually when they were talking about PSLs. I think it's okay to PSL something and think it's hot. And I also think it's okay to have a rape kink.

They definitely treated it as screwed up, though. Everything about Tony's characterization centered on it.

They were excited about the plot from what I remember. Neither one of them was 'squeeing' about how it was a 'ship'. Glancing through, the logs that I can see with Tyki and Tony are labeled with things like "violence" and "non-con".

Like the other anon mentioned they play out PSLs privately too. But what I remember seeing in BN wasn't "kawaii buttsex".

The last time I checked, Tony was terrified of Tyki and wanted to kill him pretty much with every fiber of his being. I'm not sure I would call that a ship.

There was a brief period where they were staying together, pretty much as a couple.

But Tony was kinda self-destructive at that point, internalizing and trying to push the worst of it down and minimalize it to cope. And it led to regression and more trauma and kind of losing his shit for a while.
