rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. It doesn't look like DW can handle 5,000 comment entries at the moment so please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. I wouldn't say there are any cliques in the game. I will say there is a problem with people in big casts not tagging around. Homestuck cast is by far the worst about it -- about 5 of them tag around while the other 14 only show up to tag each other. Mass Effect cast can be pretty bad about it at times too, though they've been getting better. Resident Evil cast varies, some are great at tagging around and others are terrible at it, but at least they've been making an effort to get cross canon characters involved in their plots. Outside of those, I haven't noticed any cliquey behavior.

I have to agree that larger casts have a habit of not tagging around as much...It's an unfortunate side effect of having so many castmates in one place--you want to tag them all, but then you hardly end up tagging outside of your own cast because of it. I am making an attempt, but I've been overwhelmed with school and RL so I miss a lot of posts that Jill would have definitely hit up.

I know several of us in the RE cast really care about outside CR though so hopefully we'll all be making an attempt to get out there.

And here I've been sitting here telling everyone all of my favorite CR is cross-canon anyway. hahah.

Really though, I can't speak for anyone else but I'm personally sorry we give off the cliquey vibe. I used to do a lot better at tagging everyone everywhere, and I'm working on getting back to that. :)
