Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. Please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. We don't need several threads soliciting photo evidence of body parts, and we already know that we only care about yaoi. Failure to comply will only result in deletions and butthurt. "People may notice site slowdown/cache error pages. We're working on fixing. You can help: finish posts at 3k comments, not 5k or more." - Dreamwidth@Twitter
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Concerns?

Re: Steve Rogers | Marvel Cinematic Universe
(Anonymous) 2013-01-16 04:06 am (UTC)(link)Second is that there's a balance between him being a soldier and a leader. Chances are that he's going to be involved if you've got him in a game that requires action and such. He's not the type to just stand at the sidelines and watch things happen. And even if there's some sort of commanding officer, Steve will occasionally run off and do his own thing if he thinks it's a good idea (and he may or may not take a team with him). In both his own movie and The Avengers, he has this tendency to take off on a jet without consulting anyone except the people giving him a ride and assistance.
That said, he's also smart. As the above anon said, he will ask questions or at least make an attempt at puzzling something out. Like in the deleted scene where the waitress is all "We have free wireless" and Steve's best guess is "Radio?" He's trying to accommodate as best as he can and will probably make connections to older forms of technology when trying to figure out new ones.
There's a lot of angst to be had about being thrust into the future when for him the 50's might've just been a week ago. But keep it subtle and quiet. He'll sit alone and think and maybe draw a little. He's not going to bawl to anyone- even with his best attempts, he's still a total fish out of water.
And on a final note: Steve has trouble talking with women but he's not afraid of them or intimidated by them. Just looking at how he interacts with Peggy or Natasha makes it clear that he's pretty in awe of them.
