still doesn't change the fact that everytime someone brings up the fact that the elf players tend to be obnoxious on plurk there's a storm of anons rushing in to deny it

seriously though, idc. they're not seeking constant asspats which is my number 1 plurk pet peeve, so where i'm concerned they can talk about elves all they want as long as they're not begging me to validate them.

i'm mainly sideeyeing the elf ocs because some of them are just terribly put together and don't even make sense within the context of their own worlds. basically, just frustrated over the lack of quality control to the apps, though i don't really blame the mods. they're good people, they just got overwhelmed.

plurk is what it is in the end, different things annoy different people, but them being all over this thread like a bad suit almost immediately just stinks to me.

the quality control is a whole 'nother kettle of fish. i agree it needs to be tightened up, and not just for ocs. hopefully having a bigger app team will help with that.

some people don't get how arguing with anon is the biggest waste of time. rpers are the thinnest-skinned bunch. we are all 12 year olds in adult bodies, i swear.

she really needs to learn not to plurk to her entire plurk list in reaction to these things. i don't really care about the elves whether or not they're actually circle-jerking, but the way she always reacts to these sort of things leaves a bad taste in my mouth and would make me think she's unsuited to a modding position. tbf, she's only a list mod, so whatever, but there's still the fact that these people are representatives of the game.

The same could be said of whoever keeps bitching vaguely and anonymously about the elf circle jerking. It serves no purpose except to stir bad feelings. If they feel THAT strongly about it maybe they ought to attach their name to the complaint.

I would if something in the game was bothering me that much. How many anon posts have been shit up with this now? Four? Five? That's a long time to stroke some hate priapism.
