rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

As someone who knows none of the home stuck people oocly, what battle thing?

apparently the person who plays other father suggested some sort of battle club where if you see someone in the club you actually battle. i'm not completely clear on the details bcause i only skimmed but they didn't want to run it themselves so they asked for someone else to do it, and the sollux volunteered.

Basically, I brought up the idea of character having a battle post, on Plurk (because more actual in character battles would be great, considering they're rare to happen in a Pokémon game of all things) and it turned into a full on discussion with ideas from lots of people, which then turned into a Battle Club (now known as the PFC, Pokémon Fight Club).

The original idea of it was just a way to bring the 'when you meet eye contact on a Route or specified area, you have to fight' rule, in which trainers involved wear armbands in certain colours for their certain team levels. I didn't want to run it because I know for a fact I'm too busy at the moment and am horrible at keeping attention to mod things, so Sollux-mun said they'd do it.

I can't imagine it'll go much further than post about it, get it into existence and leave it as a general thing. If it does and is kept up, then that's fabulous.

tbh, I just want to see people battling/battle more in Route, and with an easier way of accessing so.
