I've seen a Death on Dear Mun. Anyone else?

I haven't seen anyone from this canon, which is pretty sad. But I do have a tentative Uriel muse.

Yeah, I thought at least Ulthane would be brawling around somewhere. Why tentative, anon?

Frankly I'm not sure I can do her justice at the moment. I only know her, for the most part, from the first game and I'm working my way through The Abomination Vault. I haven't even started the second game, which fills out her character a little more from what I've heard.

On another note, I'm surprised I haven't seen a War around at all. Or Lilith either.

Yep, she does have a role in the second game! It'll be a while before Death meets her, though.

War I can kinda understand, given he doesn't have much personality. But Lilith would be pretty cool, all schemey yet having a bit of a silly side. "You have chores to do..."

Well I went ahead and made the account for Uriel. But I don't suppose I'll see much action with her until I've finished the Abomination Vault just so I can at least be coherent with her history so far.

War is like that mixed bag of cookies where there's just enough to go by- his personality seems pretty filled out with the help of the novel at least- but maybe not enough. But there are so many interesting characters though.

Understandable! I haven't read it for a while myself. I take the characterization in there lightly, though, given the "btw these characters my act differently in the final game" author's note. But hey, take what you can get. Speaking of, the first game art book has a section on Uriel - says that "when Abaddon fell, I (Azrael, who narrates the book) saw something break inside of her." So if that helps, yay.

Yeah, then there are little quirks people may not catch, and interviews and such may help as well. Definitely agree on the interesting characters! A demon prince keeping his side of the bargain, angels damning creation...really a shame (and curiosity) there're so few players. Who do you like? Besides Uriel, I mean.

I think there's just enough in the book you can scrap together to add into their personalities. Not just fully accepting it, but you can always gloss it over as 'some time later, after much blah blah blah they ended up as they did in game.' Or some such. I want that art book so badly. But yes, that does help. All those little tidbits.

Demons who are willing to follow rules, Angels who bend the rules a little- what more could you ask for? And a new take on the Nephilim outside of the usual 'Fallen angel mates with human' yada yada. As for characters... Azrael is also one of my favorites. Any of the Makers, name them and I probably adore them. And the Crowfather too! I'm big on side characters, admittedly. I also like some of the characters in the Abomination Vault.

Eh, I guess adding is okay. So little of the character's pasts are explored, after all. I hope you get the art book! May be inexpensive now. The art book for the second game is, anyway. It lacks the text/explanations and rarely names the characters, though, which I find pretty odd. 'Maker - Warrior' instead of 'Thane' and so on. But they're both excellent and packed!

'Bending the rules a little,' understatement of the century. :P Az is pretty cool. And sad. Can't imagine how it must've been like, trapped in a tower for a century (and possibly longer)...I'm fondest of side characters, as well. Find them easier to roleplay, too. How's the book?

I've Draven here. Extremely shaky, given 95% of his characterization revolves around one thing, but I'll keep at him.
