one of my real life friends irritates me so fucking much for the most irrational reason

her grammar is fucking horrid when she's speaking, and i can excuse that kind of stuff most of the time in spoken conversation because hello, it's spoken conversation

but listening to her is actually painful (although granted i am slightly crazy about grammar and everything).

i think what irritates me more is the fact that she keeps misspelling words with 'eu' in them. we're in psychology together and she keeps spelling neuron as 'nueron' and Freud as 'Frued' even after i pointed out the correct spelling and both words are CONSTANTLY MENTIONED IN THE TEXTBOOK

and she gets up in arms about it saying "spelling doesn't matter unless i'm writing a paper"

i guess it just irritates me because i care about these things more than the average person. and i know that i'm stupid and that this is the pettiest thing in the world to get upset over, but it's hard not to get angry when she just doesn't give a shit.

shit, i meant to say that she just has terrible spelling in general, not just with words with 'eu' in them, lmao. it's late.

also, before anyone asks, she's not dyslexic either.
