rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Temporary Change: To reduce the strain on Dreamwidth's servers new entries will go up when a post reaches 3,000. It doesn't look like DW can handle 5,000 comment entries at the moment so please refrain from spamming so we can stretch these entries for a little longer. Anyone else think the mods are really inefficient?

They've been slow and haven't given too much of a shit since day one. They're mostly too preoccupied with Mayfield and trying to make their game a watered down version of it.

...But the Tower is mostly DIY horror. Mayfield, AFAIK, isn't. You don't need the mods in the Tower to have your character face horrific things.

they made it mostly diy for a reason
i used to play there and i honestly got so tired of them just refusing to put in any effort. one or two of the mods actually cared and tried to do stuff, but the head mod never seemed to pull their weight

...I like that it's DIY, honestly. It means I can get creative and don't have to wait for a goddamn event to bring the horror out, so it doesn't fall into the trap of every other horror game out there. That being: it's horror once a month, but otherwise, everyone's A-OK.
