Uh, to be fair, quite a few people are dissatisfied with the game's pace/direction at the moment.

i wish someone else would come up with a plot though because with murder's plots it's always about her and her characters while other characters tag along.

they should bring it up to the mods instead of complaining about it on plurk, then.

Maybe. But personally, I think this is a player problem, not a mod problem. I have the feeling this game will turn out like Singularity where much of the playerbase will ignore most of the events because they ~don't want to traumatize their character~ and they'll try to keep the slice of life feel. Which isn't what the game is about at all.

+1. It's the culture that's developing, although the lack of plot/direction from the mods is concerning too.

Hopefully when we do get an event enough of us who are in it for the creepy will get invested and have some fun with it. If others get left behind, that'll be their problem.

I'm one of the people excited for potential close CR in the game and I DO want to play out horror. So what if I potentially want a ship? I also want these "bad things" the game promises to have too. I'll be very sad if it turns into Singularity.

As someone who joined it for the horror aspect, I'm going to fight to have it not turn into singularity.

So what if I have a ship, or a cast, or close CR, it's only two months old guys, give it time.

Possibly, yeah. I've been tossing around the idea of apping a character who'd make genetic abominations out of the current crew's DNA and have the misshapen horde attack the bridge eventually but I'm not sure how the playerbase would react to that.

i think the permanence of death is also making people hesitant.

i'm about to leave singularity, don't tell me the next best thing i can find is going to turn in to a clone of it
