rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i have this friend. we met through rp, but it'd been at least a solid year since we played together. we were friends through all that time.

a couple days ago we started a thread together though and ever since she's been extremely PA that i wasn't tagging fast enough, even though i said i wasn't comfortable tagging with that particular character.

yesterday, she said if i wasn't comfortable tagging her with that character, we shouldn't be friends, said she was tired of dealing with my shit. she proceeded to sign off on me and defriended me from plurk. now, today, she's saying she didn't mean it.

is it worth it to even bother trying to talk to her again?

if this is unusual behavior, i'd try to talk about what happened. who knows, maybe something's the matter in her offline life.

but if she's been pulling this kind of shit on you regularly, then drop it like it's hot

Tell her up front if she was being irrational and jumping to conclusions, and correct her on her assumptions. That kind of behavior is uncalled for, and not easily forgiven. (Unless you're a pushover.)

She probably harbors some resentful feelings about you, just get her to air her thoughts, air your feelings, and then give your so-called friendship some space.

Be the adult in this instance, don't get extremely defensive and PA
