Anons, I could use some advice. Basically, when I'm around my friends I am pretty fun and funny and good at carrying on conversation, BUT I really suck at making new friends because I never take the initiative to start conversations out of the blue with people I don't know. Or if I do, I never seem to be able to make the leap from casual acquaintances to friendship because I worry about coming across too strong.

Any advice/tips you guys could give me? :(
