Also, due to feedback, the sign-ups post is going to be removed. At the moment, I am willing to replace it with the original system where a list will be compiled beforehand without sign-ups and will be updated when needed. In that case, either the mod contact post or a new post will be set up with comment screening for people to let me know which accounts to not add before the list is made public.

If anyone is interested, I could set up a poll or a feedback post for people to vote on which they feel is the best way to manage the directory. Or if anyone has other ideas, they could share them in that post as well.

Holly Heights currently has reserves open, and applications open Sept. 1! Currently Apollo here is the only Ace Attorney character there (with Wocky Kitaki on reserve, I believe) and I would absolutely love to have some more. Other lawyers and characters that appear in AJ would be especially awesome but seeing pretty much any Ace Attorney characters would be lovely.

As for the game itself, Holly Heights is slice-of-life, usually a slow-medium pace, and very open to backtagging. If there's anything you're curious about or that I've left out, feel free to ask and I will try to answer to the best of my ability! o/

The AA cast over at Paradisa would absolutely love to have more folks join our ranks!

Currently, we have Phoenix, Edgeworth, Maya, and Larry. We'd LOVE love love Franziska, Gumshoe, villains... anybody you'd care to bring in! (Personally, I really want a Trucy.)

So, I've been throwing this guy around some memes here and there (not looking to app him to a game at the moment) but I don't feel like I'm quite getting his voice. Some advice I've gotten in the past was that Meekins always tries to do the right thing above all else, but I'm trying to figure out a good balance of when he does what he thinks is right and when he does what someone else tells him what he should think is right.

I'm also trying hard to not overuse any of his quirks/common phrases because I don't want to flanderize him.

Any advice besides these things would be helpful of course because I feel like I haven't quite got him down yet.

Capcom's going to be localizing the Phoenix Trilogy HD version for the iOS with the release date being set for this fall! Oh, and apparently, the chances of AAI2 being localized might get increased if the HD version sells well according to this:

I'm kind of confused. I thought there was already an iPhone version out? Is it the "HD" thing that's the main difference here?

I'm glad we're getting another "chance" so to speak for AAI2, but I'm not holding my breath if Capcom continues to fail to advertise, as they always have :C

it has been a while since i've followed this project, and i don't know what they're up to nowadays, but it is amazing and i feel like it should be shared. i figure since the ace attorney thread is kinda active this time around, someone might appreciate it, so here goes!

Looks like that Takumi is considering on transitioning the whole AA series to the iOS depending on how well the iOS ports sell.

That's great for him, but I do not own an Apple phone nor am I about to go out of my way to buy one just to play the games.

He'll be isolating more people than he probably thinks by doing so.

Right now, there's a promo for Resident Evil 6 where they're taking gift requests that Capcom says they're planning to grant as many of them if possible. Some fans have already taken the chance to request AAI2's localization in the west.

I haven't tried it since you need a FB account to leave a request, but anyone think it'll actually work?

It's been confirmed that Phoenix is going to be the main character of AA5. For the 3DS. He's also going to receive a new partner who is a "mysterious girl in yellow".
